2.      Contrast                Although/though/even though
Example: He got low marks even though he had studied very hard.

3.      Time                      After/before/when/while
Example:

1.    The Simple Present

Passive        : Chicken satay with soy sauce addition is made by my mother.

2.    The Present Continuous/Progressive
Active         : The engine is driving the train.
Passive        : The train is being driven by the engine.

3.    The Simple Past
Active         : We cleaned our house yesterday.
Passive        : Our house was cleaned yesterday.

4.    The Past Continuous
Active         : My friend was baking bread when I came.
Passive        : Bread was being baked when I came.

5.    The Present Perfect
Active         : My sister has started a new job this week.
Passive        : A new job has been started by my sister this week.
